Case Study: Camelback Mountain

We were approached by the contractor to finish a job that had been started by a company other than Shade Industries, but was not meeting the customer’s expectations.

Challenge:
Shade sails were designed and installed by an inexperienced designer. The homeowner was unhappy with the way the sails looked and the inadequate shade provided. The contractor had incurred considerable expense installing the existing posts and wanted to incorporate them into a new design if possible.

Solution:
We were able to use the existing posts, add one new post and a wall bracket, to come up with the winning design. The new sails look great and do what they were originally intended to do, shade the patio.

Note: Our customers are often concerned about preserving their views. Shade sails have a thin side profile and fit well in areas where blocking the view is a concern. This project highlights some of the advantages of shade sails over other shade products.
